Welcome to Willowtown Community Primary School

Headteacher's welcome

Dear Parents and Carers,

Wishing you a wonderful welcome to the Summer Term! With such a short half term ahead of us, it feels like the term may be gone in a flash – all the more so because of the many events, trips and visits taking place across the classes throughout this month of May. From Sports Day on 14th May to our Dogs Trust assembly (where we welcomed the latest member of our team, Barney the Labrador) and all sorts of class-based events in between, the year is flying by. National Tests are now successfully out of the way, meaning that we can focus on really rich and varied learning experiences as we prepare for the new Curriculum for Wales (the consultation on which has just launched) across June and July. I look forward to catching up with you in person around school soon.

Paul Keane, Headteacher
